*scores a swivel club armchair with lumbar pillow from the sidewalk opposite the Symphony Whole Foods* Cost: $17 (the cost of the cab ride back home) + whatever I end up spending on a slipcover (due to the slight but noticeable upholstery stain, and the fact that it's pink. Not a bad pink, just not a match for our living room).
